For now I only have one breeding pair and am working to increase the quality of New Zealand's pet chinchillas and working towards producing show quality chins. I am buying in new stock to upgrade my herd and setting up my foundation. I know a little bit about genetics from my tertiary studies in Biology and will apply this to my breeding program. I am aiming at breeding show quality but at the moment I have pet quality, however this is improving.
